Niu-Niu: Winner
Niu-Niu: counting a hand
- A hand has five cards. Ace is 1, 2–9 count at face value, ten, jack, queen and king count 10.
- Look for three cards that add up to a multiple of 10 (10, 20 or 30). If there are none, the hand is No Game.
- The remaining two cards give the points — the last digit of their sum: 7 + 8 = 15, so Niu 5.
- If those two also add up to 10 or 20, it is Niu Niu, the strongest hand. Five picture cards (jacks, queens, kings) make Ultimate, which beats Niu Niu.
Who wins
- Ranking: Ultimate, Niu Niu, Niu 9, Niu 8 … Niu 1, No Game.
- With equal hands, compare the highest card: king, queen, jack, ten … ace. If that is equal too, the suit decides: spades, hearts, clubs, diamonds.
- In the trainer, pick the winning hand among 2–4 hands.
